MEET our Staff

Sheri Donner-Watson

As a junior & amateur Sheri was very competitive at shows such as Edmonton Northlands & Spruce Meadows.  She trained with Jonathan Asselin who was the alternate for the Sydney Olympics as well as a former resident rider for Spruce Meadows.  She have also trained under Trish Marwaka who is the Master Course Conductor in Alberta for Equine Canada – she sets the standards which coaches are tested on.  Each province is under their own jurisdiction – and Alberta is one of the front runners in the field of creating coaches of high quality.  Her cross training came from a leading Canadian dressage rider who was starting to make his national mark prior to passing away.  Nadeem Ayoob was training with some of our Olympic dressage riders in Ontario and travelling with them to compete in Florida.

Alana Mombourquette

We have a new instructor Alana Mombourquette, who graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Physical Education, with her concentration in Adapted Physical Education. She is going back to school to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy and Hippotherapy, which will aid in the Therapeutic Riding/Special Needs Assessments. She also runs our non profit organization, grant applications and fundraisers. If you have any questions please feel free to contact her.
